Multifuel fireplace, but ideally suited to anthracite due to the top loading door.

The Montfort is a small cast iron stove, which heats a surprisingly large area and is available in a Classic style Mk1 or Contemporary style Mk2. The Mk1 is a multifuel unit which can burn anthracite and wood. The Mk2 should preferably be used with wood and has vermiculite firebox linings for more efficient and cleaner combustion.  They both have a large ash tray for easy cleaning, dual combustion air controls with an airwash system to keep the glass clean, and a top or back flue entry.

The unit has double doors which fold right back, so it can be burnt as an open fire is reuqired (although this will diminish it s efficiency and performance).

Extra large cast iron slow combustion stove.  Massive 12Kw heat output suitable for heating large open plan areas.  This is a large heater in every sense.
